Hi all.
I'm here asking for some advise. I'm trying Alice: Madness Returns on PC. But then I started to wonder about some things. Many people who have the means like playing on high definition and details, high resolutions and even 3D. But, trying to put aside such matters, what do you prefer for gaming, console or PC?
On Xbox and PS3, for example, there are achievements/trophies, which are not on PC. Even when I like getting achievements on games for some strange reason, I'm of those people who normally play a game just once. So when I finish one I can keep the game, but on PC I not only keep the game, but also those lengthy 8 Gb of HDD space (all modern games are that heavy). So there are 2 possible downpoints for PC games: no achievements and HDD space. And if we mention uninstalling, remember that uninstallations on Windows are not always complete/correct even from Control Panel, which would be the ideal.
However, I know of many people who still like PC gaming, and I just came to get Alice for PC. I wouldn't want to feel regretful -games are not cheap-. So, what do you think? Can you give some advise?
By the way, it would also be much better if modern games could be kept and run as backup data, keeping just the game's entire folder and running from it, just like older times. That was the way I used to make backups of some of my games while keeping the original discs. But I think online activation and similar things make it hard (I don't intend to talk about piracy).
Thanks.
