Now it seems like it gets "stuck" on a sound..sort of crackling, but it get stuck on a 1-2 second "footstep" or running sound..and keeps looping.
Btw I'm currently OC'ed to 4ghz, cores unparked and 6950 oc'ed to 840/1325.. I should be able to run this game but can't figure out how to fix the stupid audio =( 01-15-2013, 01:23 PM
I am using the latest build what you do is switch to LLE audio then if you have a multicore CPU check the lock LLE to thread box this gives some performance on multicore increase ,also I recommend leaving VBEAM off after doing this.
As far as i know there are 2 options to completely fix the audio in Xenoblade:
1. using LLE audio (too slow for most users) or 2. Using a XBHLE fixed build (post #345), unfortunately no current 3.5 or never build is available yet, but 3.0-845 XBHLE or 3.0-750 XBHLE from this thread can be used. (fastest and best solution), also works with Rune Factory: Oceans The third option, setting Accurate Vbeam=On and Idle Skipping = Off in game properties or (slower but OK) does not seem to work in current revisions anymore 01-23-2013, 09:20 PM
i am finally able to play the game with out any problems
try these download dolphin 3.5 - 316 (Direct3d9) my settings: 1- enable Dual core (speedup) 2- enable idle skipping (speed up put frame limit to (Audio) then click limit by FPS in Hacks click on (must be checked) 1- skip EFB access from CPU 2- ignore format changes 3-texture Accuracy == full to safe external frame buffer disable must be checked other (the things that must be checked) this is very important ALL must be checked except disable fog DSP chose DSP HLE -------------------------------- these settings must be done with what work best for you PC my settings are: i am running the game on 2560*1440 monitor with internal resolution 4*native anti-aliasing *4 and anisotropic filtering *16 and checked on Scaled EFB copy and per-pixel lighting and force texture filtering hope i my setting helped some of you (any build after 3.5 -316 wont work with Xenoblade)
HLE seems to work almost fine for me now, only problem I've had is that because of accurate V beam, the audio doesn't sync well in cutscenes which is pretty annoying.
If I don't use V beam, the sound eventually starts crackling after some time. 02-15-2013, 09:35 AM
Hello,
I've tried 3.5-367 with default settings (tried LLS, but I have to get some file that I'm not sure how to get...I can research if this is the pointed answer) I tried with Boss's 3.5 -316 And an HLE hacked 3.0 - 72 Every single one has the same issues, except for Boss's which is worse with his settings. Even in the starting cut-scene by the time the second titan slashes the first the crackling in the sound begins. Frankly there's a crack in the very first few frames when I listen hard enough. With Boss's mods the sound is way off there is staggering (seems liek video and audio trying to maintain sync) and still the crackling ~~~~ AMD Phenon II X4 945 3.00GHZ Two ATI 4895 2gig VRAM 8gig ram ~~~~ I feel like I've tried a lot, something simple I'm missing? EDIT: Okay, so on a hunch I turned on OpenAL audio - cracked up the latency, that was a bad idea. Put back to default and the DSP LLE onThread and DUMP AUDIO And the crackling is pretty much good. Game staggers quite a bit still, any more tips? 02-16-2013, 08:24 PM

make sure when using my settings audio backend is (XAudio2) so there wont be any delay between audio and video |
