Where did the Audio throttle option go? My Xenoblade runs WAY too fast now. :\

My Specs

Radeon HD 6750M 1GB

Hey everyone, I've been tryin to get Xenoblade Chronicles to run on Dolphin on my Macbook Pro, it seems that I've finally reached some sort of configuration that works for me that eliminates all of any audio clicking or distortion, and any video lag that came with it. It runs smoothly at the 25 FPS (I have not used the 30 FPS patch) and everything works wells.

I am about 5 hours into the game (lvl 27-ish)

My settings are as follows for Dolphin 3.0-363:
Video
- OpenGL, x2 Native Resolution playing on a 720p resolution T.V.
Audio
- DSP HLE CoreAudio @ 48000 Hz
- Frameskip is set to Audio

Also, right-click the game and change the properties to enable VBeam Emulation and Idle Skipping..

It seems everything else was default as I installed it and it works fine! I have tried using DSP DLL and it did work, but the battles and large cutscenes were horrendous whereas the audio was unbearable, but now everything works flawlessly.

I've built a new Dolphin (version 3.0.370) for Xenoblade, using the v3.1 HLE audio patch.
It works wonders for me; it's fast and stable.
Here's the x64 version. Feel free to use it.

Solution: Go to Dolphin Configuration and set Framelimit to Auto. Idea
Try it, and then post your feedback. Rolleyes

Thanks.

This is great, running 90-100% speed constantly with good audio. I was even able to crank up some visual enhancements up there. Wonderful.

Thanks.

Thanks for this, abe5. Your build does seem to run the game a little better on my machine; however, at the same time it appears to cause at least one graphical glitch: water no longer flows, both on the the rivers and down waterfalls. (This is most noticeable on Bionis' Leg.) Any way around this?

Hello! First of all, let me say this... I have not noticed any glitch yet, at-least as far as I am concerned. Moreover, I have already passed the 100 hours milestone in the game. I think that glitch has something to do with either Accurate VBeam emulation or Block Merging. Those two should be enabled in the Game-Specific Settings. Angel

This patch works perfect just as Mylek said.
Even in videos there is no problems at all or any audio distortions 26hours in game now.

But there is specific settings that needs to be done.
If u don't setup like that you will have one of 2 things:
1. Constant ugly noise coming every few seconds (damaged sound)
2.or crash randomly
DON'T ENABLE audio throttle!Don't Enable block merging!Disable it and rest!
Just setup as it is on pictures!

i played now over 20h no audio crackles or random crashes... (maybe a few audiocrackles in the first 30s of game start while the shaders are build... but thats normal)
but like "butterandsoysauce" mentioned no waterflow...

i did recognized that the water isnt flowing...
i thought its normal... thanks at this point to "butterandsoysauce"
is there a possiblity for a new rev?
