That patch doesn't do anything to solve the music looping issue with the HLE plugin nor does it fix the grand star freeze, you must have been using the LLE plugin if that were the case. There are some galaxies where the music won't stop, that is because the music for these galaxies are in a different format. Any galaxies or anything that uses the AFC decoder for music will eventually quit working and kill the music.

In case you're talking about my patch, I doubt it works like that. The main parts are still missing (the calls to AFCdecodebuffer with correct parameters, the commented out call to 06f9 and the mystery of ax0.h).
That aside, it doesnt even compile that way Smile

I was referring to the patch attached to the thread that ruihq linked to. Wink

I realize your code for AFC is not finished yet, although I am a bit anxious to test it out once it's finished, perhaps LM123 or nakee could help out if they haven't already been helping. Tongue

Another thing, it seems that Wario World might also be using a combination of AFC and the light Zelda ucode to produce and loop music. By messing around with the light ucode I am able to get some music working but it doesn't loop correctly because of the buggy AFC code. So it looks like the light zelda code needs some work as well in addition to the AFC code.

Hy xtreme2damx
for me works to past the grand star problem just when the music don't crash, but really works for me in the HLE plugin ,ONLY in r6137 from mamario, i trying disable sound and make everything everybody said to pass the blackscreen problem and this is the only way i found to do this, dont work all times, but works, i tested the r6141 and i pass the grand star problem but when start the next world the game chashes. but the music of the game take a really more time to crash, in mario galaxy 1 and 2, and just for that i'm thinking this cood help you guys to find a solution.
but if this cood help, i'll test other patches plugins and stuffs you guys made and post my experiences to help, i'm not a programer so i can't hep whit the code, but what i can test and make i'll doing =)
hope helping in the future
