I thought I had been completely resolved the problem of music in Super Mario Galaxy, but in fact, the patch only does take longer to happen the problem. But, it was still positive. Can you play one, two stages with the music playing perfectly. Then just reset when stop, returns to work.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I checked SMG and the patch of ZWW is never reached by SMG code. So no influence at all. The looping problem is really annoying but I cannot do anything (at least I don't know what to do) to solve the problem. But at least the music is back after you load a game (not via the gamestate function...).

Well one of your patches does fix one thing though. As far as I know there has never been any music on the islands outside, places such as Dragon Roost island now have music when running around the island. I'll confirm this by removing the patches and testing to see if that is the case.

if you don't know what to do with a .patch file, then theres no point in telling you.

you don't need the patch file if you're just gonna replace the plugin Smile

Super Mario Galaxy music is weird though, it never stops at the same place twice and it seems that certain sound events trigger the music to stop. Music has played fine on several occasions, until I trigger a certain event, in this case it seems that getting the large coins and sometimes normal starbits or coins will cause the music to crap out.

Hm, no one got any insight in this? For most Wii games, the sound is the last thing that's a real issue...
I remember, Mario Kart Wii BGM also got fixed from cutting off... did that have nothing to do with the BGM in SMG or ZTP? Undecided

There just doesn't seem to be much interest to fix sound, there has barely been any noteworthy DSP related commits for a while, and work on LLE JIT seems to have ceased at the moment. DSP emulation-development for Dolphin seems to have slowed down quite a bit now compared to the past, with any DSP commits few and far between. It isn't just DSP development either, development in general seems to be going at a much slower pace lately, with not many critical issues receiving the attention that is deserved and have remained unfixed for several months now.

I'm going to take a guess and say they must have ran into a snag or a roadblock with not only emulating the DSP and fixing the current issues with DSP emulation, but fixing other issues with the emulator as well.
