You should be able to see if any errors occur while loading textures. Go to View -> Show Log Configuration and select Error, then go to View -> Show log. If there's a problem during the load process, Dolphin should tell you. Also, yes, apparently Dolphin will search sub-folders (the code says as much on github), so perhaps just try putting slax65's entire folder in your Load folder.

I've tried everything. Nothing has worked. I've changed texture cache, and every other thing you've suggested. Maybe I should just inject the files into the .iso?

If you know how to edit GC game files, sure, I don't see why that wouldn't work. You could always try dumping and editing the textures yourself through Dolphin. Can you even dump and replace simple textures (like the game's logo/title)?

The internet can teach anything. But i'll do that another time, maybe even make it a patch, for now I'm going to fiddle around with the settings till it works

Dumping textures gave me these. I'm thinking my iso may have more of these than the pack fixes or the pack is just plain not working.
