Paper Mario TTYD PC Controls

I have Paper Mario TTYD, but I can't seem to get any of the controls to work. I'm on keyboard BTW, but I press every key and it does nothing? PLEASE HELP?

In your controller setting is port 1 standard controller and have you configured the controls to your liking?

You, my good sir, have solved my issue. I was formatting the controls for the "Keyboard" option, not standard controller. Thank you.
