First of all, I'm new to these forums, so sorry if this is in the wrong section. I'm also relatively new to dolphin, so sorry if I use improper or inaccuarate terms, or if the answer to this question is extremely obvious.
I recently began playing Paper Mario: TTYD on Dolphin, and I found these two videos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apvYrN19BxA
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Motm8U2-ZWA
As you can see, the characters are much more clear and less jagged around the edges. The uploader says it was accomplished through running the game in full 1080p as opposed to the gamecube's regular 480p. Could someone please explain what configurations and settings are required to achieve the effect shown in the video? Thanks in advance.

My iPod can't display the videos, but generally you have to raise your Internal Resolution to play in HD. Click the Graphics button in Dolphin and go to the Enhancements tab. You'll see a drop down menu with options like 1x, 2x, 3x, and 4x. These are multiples of the original GC/Wii's native resolution, although Auto (Window Size) sets the IR to however big Dolphin's rendering window is.

Note that how high you can set your IR and use anti-aliasing without bottlenecking the performance is dependent on your GPU. There is also a Widescreen hack that might br useful if you dislike stretching the image, but it has issues in numerous games.

EDIT: Refer to the Minimum GPU Specs thread to see how high you can set your IR for your GPU (hint: it will be pretty high for most games, your GPU is very strong). and see the Using Higher Internal Resolutions thread if you need to see exactly how you can play in higher resolutions
