Hello! I was wondering a couple of things - firstly, is it possible to hypothetically transfer save data to this version, and secondly, what percentage of the game would you guess has been HD-ified? I don't need an exact number or anything.

I don't need an exact number or anything. This isn't a patch, so the save will be exactly the same. No transfer necessary. There's currently 3,023 textures in the pack. Any guess at percentage I have would be way off. Maybe I'll add a percentage to the OP if I find out. 10-01-2016, 12:50 PM
Hello guys, sorry I haven't really been active much. I've been very busy with school and work and haven't had a chance to work on it as much as i would like. I was planning to upload everything I had but I was kinda doubting my work because I made a lot of changes to the pack and wasn't sure if you all would accept the change. Not only that, but I did so many textures at once I completely forgot which ones I worked on and which ones I didn't.
Some changes I made were: - Changed the numbers where HP, FP and FP to the original font of the game. (Wasn't really a fan of the new one we had.) - Worked on a lot of the bomb ombs that were already made and gave them the paper mario outlinish texture because before it seemed really bland. - Most of the pit of 100 trial enemies are done including the recolors e.g Pider, Arantula. The blue and green Ruff Puff's, the Clefts and a whole lot other ones. if you guys still want me to upload the pack just let me know and I will do so when I have time. I'll post screenshots later. TL;DR kinda disorganized many textures were created by me. 10-01-2016, 12:56 PM

Here are a couple of updated screenshots. These are just only a FEW of the many textures I've been working. When I have time I'll upload more screens. 10-01-2016, 01:59 PM
Thanks for the info - I tried the pack out, and everything looked great, but I couldn't play it for long because of the stuttering I suffered when I had Dual Core turned off. I don't suppose anyone knows a workaround?

That definitely fixed the issue - I just need to wait a bit so that it can finish prefetching the textures and then the stuttering stops. EVerything looks fantastic so far, except for the food for some reason. Not all of it is finished, either, it seems, judging from how the zess t dinner and such still have the original textures. Everything else is incredible, though! Thank you so much!

I'll check (as accurately as I can anyway) in the future. 10-01-2016, 02:59 PM
You guys are doing a great job, I want you to know that. It feels like I'm playing a remastered version of the game. You have my sincere gratitude. And sorry for critiquing some of the spritework done on the food items. That was rude of me. To whoever made the stuff for the mushrooms, syrups, etc. : I'm sorry. I can't really complain, since I don't even have the level of skill you do - I haven't even tried.

They are characters that appear as the audience during battle! They're used quite alot. (http://www.mediafire.com/file/ca9320949j...xtures.zip) I'm working on some items. Might even be some of the last ones! These also include items used in sidequests at the Trouble Center. There are 57 recipes total.. I did make some of the most common ones but I doubt someone is crazy enough to make all of them! |
