Really is going to add up to the full package when it's done. When it is mostly done someone should make a thread about this pack on a forum that is popular like Neogaf. And have a youtube video to get some attention for the pack. A lot of Nintendo fans are out there that could use this but don't really know about it.

With this game more than a lot of them the updated textures really make the game look HD. I mean when you guys are done most people won't even be able to tell an HD version from what N could do lol.

Finished the Engineer and re-did the Conductor due to them sharing several assets, and the Conductor also clashing aesthetically with a lot of the other toads. Also, totally forgot about Zip Toad during that last list, whoops, so I went ahead and did him as well.

Also, off topic, but it's insane how few assets these Toads share. Every single mouth-related asset for Toads on the Excess express are basically contained in their own folder (Zip Toad, the Conductor and the Engineer all share the closed-mouth asset, but no other Toad uses it to my knowledge). Also the seemingly random file sizes at times, and how some Toads' head textures are separated into hat and head, and others are conjoined. There seems to be little to no pattern whatsoever, and it boggles my mind that the artists would go for such an inconvenient route in regards to storage and lack of uniformity.

Heh I can attest to that. I had most of the toads I drew in a single .xcf file thinking "they gotta share something eventually". And to my surprise, they almost never did. Some are almost the same but slightly shifted.

Everyone on the Excess Express is finished with the exception of Ghost T... And he's almost certainly gonna take longer than the rest of the cast, given he's made up of fully-layered textures, rather than individual ones. Shouldn't be much harder, given manual layering isn't too difficult, but it'll absolutely be the most tedious thing this far.
