Checking "Store EFB Copies to Texture Only" should eliminate the problem, IF there is actually a retexture. Even if there is not, the default texture will look slightly less jagged. I'm not sure if those punis have a retexture though. Checking this option may also cause other issues though, I can't fully remember if I noticed anything.

I see. I think, because they're idle in the cut-scenes, they were opted to be animations rather than character models, and the animations don't have a re-texture at this point.  Smile  Thank you for educating me, I'm a big fan of this project and TTYD, and I'd like to contribute in any way I can some day soon Wink

you also see this effect in the scene where rawk hawk is introduced in glitzville with the background characters. it happens when a huge number of characters appear on screen at once. the game appears to generate a single texture with simple animation from all the different parts. the effect breaks if you toggle loading custom textures and probably other settings too.

i've also done the texture for the juice bar sign in glitzville in several languages. download it here

Nice, but I think that texture is supposed to be tiled. Therefore...

The texture is actually pretty good, so don't give up. Not much work would have to go into making it seamless. When I make textures like that, I scale it 4x, set the canvas size x2 that, tile the texture 4 times (like the screenshot above), work on the border around the inner edges, then copy and paste the overlap to the outer edges (working from the top left corner). After the borders are seamless, the rest can just be filled in.

So I'm having trouble loading some of the textures. The playstation buttons are loading but as far as I know nothing else is. I downloaded the texture pack and put it into c:/users/"my user"/documents/dolphin emulator/load/textures/G8ME01. I have tried using Store EFB copies to texture check and unchecked, I have load custom textures and prefetch custom textures checked. I have tried putting the texture cache accuracy to safe and fast. I have disable bound box unchecked. Does anyone know what else I can do?

Did you crank up the internal resolution? Sometimes people mistake custom textures not loading when you're looking at the original gamecube resolution. Also, you can rename G8ME01 to just G8M to make the texture pack region free.
