The only thing this does is forcing Nintendo to stronger act against emulators and stuff like this...

I am not quite sure if this issue is resolved yet, but in playing the texture pack, I noticed an issue with the Punis. Sometimes, they're HD, sometimes they're SD, typically during scripted events. One would assume that they have two separate textures for whatever reason, but regardless, I figure this would be a relatively easy fix, as an HD texture already exists for them. Sorry if I turn out to be incorrect, I'm not too familiar with creating textures, or even dolphin itself, and am just looking to help out in any way I can. Smile

There is a reason why that happens, I just can't remember exactly what. I think its something to do with EFB to Tex vs. RAM, it changes the way Dolphin handles the textures. It affects the punis and the x-nauts at the start of the game. In one setting, the x-nauts are made up of "pieces" that assemble together to make them whole, in the other setting the entire character dumps as a 24 frame animation sequence. Needless to say the latter is really hard to retexture.

Yeah, I noticed that in the Princess Peach sequences, how the X-Naut PhD's are a strange combination of already re-textured gloves, eyes, etc. with lots of SD parts to them. So what you're saying is that rather than using regular textures, the Punis in the cut-scenes and supposedly the X-Nauts (I didn't notice that at any point) use a format inclusive of entire character models in animation, rather than pieces that animate on their own? Sorry, just trying to understand how this works. Also, would using RAM as opposed to GPU eliminate this problem? Confused

Pretty much that yes. Tongue It only applies to the x-nauts near the start of the game after battling lord crump.

Checking "Store EFB Copies to Texture Only" should eliminate the problem, IF there is actually a retexture. Even if there is not, the default texture will look slightly less jagged. I'm not sure if those punis have a retexture though. Checking this option may also cause other issues though, I can't fully remember if I noticed anything.
