Paper Mario TTYD HD Texture Pack v1.9 (April 1st, 2020)

I followed multiple tutorials to the letter but I cannot get Paper Mario TTYD to load custom textures. I downloaded Invader's custom textures (the DDS file from google drive) and used 7z to extract it. I then put the G8M folder in the texture folder in the load folder. I turned on both load custom textures and prefetch custom textures. When I open the game it says the custom textures were loaded but the game still has the vanilla textures. What am I doing wrong?

Yeah, that all certainly sounds correct. My gut says it might be the dds files not playing nicely with your version of Dolphin, but the version listed on your profile should be able to handle it. Just in case, I would test if the PNG pack produces different results

And to clarify, a "custom textures loaded" prompt will appear even if no custom textures are actually loaded (which is pretty confusing now that I think about it & should probably be changed). Specifically, if you see this:



...Then no textures actually loaded in. Alternatively, if you see something like this:



...Then the textures should've loaded in correctly

I took Jakey455's XBox One buttons and made a Nintendo layout version (B=X, X=B), as well as some more joystick files.

I downloaded this texture pack, did everything i was supposed to do but it isn't as crisp like your images. As if it was sized down a little bit causing pixelized edges still.

Increase the internal resolution in Graphics > Enhancements.
