This tool will dump all the textures from the game with proper hashes and names. Only works on Windows at the moment. Powered by Wiimm's Tools, XXHash, and MinGW. link to the source code in the doc folder.

The screen/textures are flickering when loading.
Disable Dual-core mode in the game settings to fix this. Synchronize GPU Thread will work as well. Just use whichever one works best for you. Smile

Awesome! Post your work in this thread. It will be added as long as it looks better than the original texture and causes no problems when loaded in-game. Wink

Some guidelines for posting textures:
- Try to avoid black outlines for textures. They should only be that color if it matches the original.
- Textures should be anywhere between 4x-16x the original size of the texture.
- Make sure your textures are in the new custom texture format: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-new-dolphin-custom-texture-format If you're using any build released after 4.0-5234 you're good to go.
- Using Bighead's texture dumper tool is recommended. It will create png files of all the textures in the game with the proper names.
- Other than that, go nuts!

My game stutters constantly when using the pack.
If you have enough RAM try checking the "Prefetch Custom Textures" box in the Graphics options. You could also try the DDS pack if "Prefetch Custom Textures" doesn't work.

How close is this pack to completion?
Check the completion progress link above. It might take a while for it to load up.

The DDS pack doesn't work!
Use the latest development build of Dolphin. BC7 support was added in Dolphin 5.0-4894.

I was also thinking about making some high-res textures for this game (and probably Super Paper Mario, too) but it's harder than I thought .. I'm not very comfortable with Photoshop so I used Toon Boom Animate Pro X2 to make a little test-drawing of Goombella (only the body-texture)

If you enjoy making them, then by all means continue. I'll probably end up making my own version eventually and adding both (so the user can choose what they like better) if you finish it. Wink

Party member textures and the HUD is the main priority right now. School just started back up and with so many games coming out, I don't know how much free time I'll have. I can guarantee though that If I have anything new I'll post it here ASAP.

i think its buged in 4.0 because when i load custom textures in DX11 i get this.

works fine in DX9 mode though.

You're right. However it isn't recommended to use DX11 with this texture pack anyway because in dolphin it only supports MSAA (geometry anti-aliasing). Since Paper Mario TTYD is made up almost entirely of textures it really doesn't do the character textures justice.
