Paper Mario ttyd crash issue

I have recently been playing paper Mario ttyd and got to the puni tree level which all has worked well to then. When I go into any pipe inside the tree there is a huge chance that the game will crash, sometimes it doesn't.

I have attached the crash report so if someone could help me it would be much appreciated.

Does it happen with more recent builds? Make sure your dump isn´t corrupt.
