Running Paper Mario TTYD under Opengl, bounding box issues on the wiki are occuring and I'm unsure why. AMD drivers are updated and I haven't seen any similar problems. Game runs fine besides the graphical issues.

Did you make sure it´s enabled?
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.
Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

Yeah I went into the graphical settings to make sure, it's unchecked although I had to change to DirectX11 to actually uncheck the box due to it being grayed out. Back on opengl and it's still having the same bounding box issues. 02-24-2019, 08:17 AM

Keep in mind that GL currently sucks on AMD GPUs, so I´d say that it´s kind of expected.
Does it still happen on D3D or Vulkan (if you can use it)? Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Seems to work fine enough under Directx11/Vulkan but performance takes a bit of a hit. I was just under the impression OpenGL should work fine under it due to what the wiki article for TTYD stated.

I was just under the impression OpenGL should work fine under it due to what the wiki article for TTYD stated. What the wiki states is true for older AMD GPUs (older than the HD 5000 series). And your GPU does not fall into that category. About the performance hit, again, the wiki states it´s worse on NVidia GPUs because of some issues that happen on backstage while using D3D. Because of all that, I recommended to use D3D or Vulkan instead. Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Alright, well thanks for the help and information that opengl is currently broken on AMD which is a shame.
