Dolphin has two implementations of bounding box: One that's fast but only works on certain GPUs, and one that's less fast but works on all hardware (as long as you're using the OpenGL backend). Dolphin normally automatically selects the best one for your hardware, but I've heard of cases where people who are using Android phones had Dolphin detect that the fast implementation would work even though it didn't. (Yet another driver problem...) The line I gave you forces Dolphin to use the slower but more compatible implementation.

Hey, I'm having the same problem but on PC, how can I do the hacking thing you stated on PC?

I tried the bounding box line which did not work (at least by itself). However, I then changed the "Video Backend" to Vulkan and the game now runs smoothly for me. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S9+ with the Snapdragon 845.

I keep updating to the latest version just to see if something happened to get fix and nothing has yet. I tried taking dual core mode off and other things. Im also using a samsung galaxy s8 for dolphin. I just really want to play this game but all what happens is I can watch the beginning but then as the boat leaves, the screen turns white and then dolphin crashes, please help! Sad

Hey, I know this is an older post but I just wanted to let you know I had the same problem and I solved it by going to the graphics settings under (Vulkan) Backend and Asynchronous Shaders (Synchronus) standard. I'm using Dolphin 5.0

its just using your graphics card to read the iso now I assume. hope it works for you as well

Does the solution recommended on the first page of this thread work for you?  If not, try changing the graphics backend to Vulkan and see if that helps.
