Paper Mario thousand year door

I've noticed that in paper Mario ttyd dolphin crashes on the opening scene where the boats sailing across.the water. From what I've researched this has been an issue for a while. Is there a solution for this issue on Android yet that I haven't been able to find? I have the latest version of pie on an ROG phone 2

Any info would be really appreciated

This probably has to do with your phone not supporting Bounding Box, either in the driver or the GPU itself. There is nothing you can do about it.

It works with Vulkan but not OpenGL.

Problem with Vulkan is that the app freezes if you minimise it, and savestates freeze the app too.

Dolphin creates a savestate when you minimize it, so I guess it's a problem with savestates specifically then...
