For some reason, this transition (the part where the professor tries to open the gate in Rogueport after you talk to him about the map and walk out the professor's house in the Prologue) doesn't work and instead gets stuck in place. Is there any way to fix this? I'm new to the Dolphin Emulator, using v5.0.

Thanks.

Update to the latest development version of Dolphin. (Changing operating system can also work depending on what GPU you're using (I don't remember which GPUs support emulating this correctly in Dolphin 5.0), but updating Dolphin is simpler.)

Sorry, but how do you update Dolphin using a Mac. All I can find are update instructions for Windows.

Just download the latest development version (currently 5.0-3239) from https://dolphin-emu.org/download/. Then you run install/run it the same way you did with the version you already have.
