The game crashes when I try to enter Hooktail's castle. I don't have a clue as to what could be doing this other than I have a bad dump of the iso. Literally nothing I change works and I need help.

Have you checked the hashes?

Also you should not be making a new thread, but rather post in the games thread:

If your dump is OK try:
- one of the latest builds ("Development versions" not "Stable versions")
- to use LLE (a free DSP is provided with latest builds so no need to dump your own files)
- to disable Dual Core

I tried the latest version and that has solved the problem. Thank you for your help.
