Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door

Recently the Dolphin app went through a huge update. Because of this I have not gotten Paper Mario TTYD to run on my phone. I get in the boat to go to rogue port and then the app crashes. I don't think this is a problem with my phone because I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S9. Now if there's something I need to download in order for it to work or if I need to wait for the next update, please let me know. I just need some help because this game is literally the primary reason I downloaded Dolphin Emulator in the first place. Thank you so much! (Also keep in mind I've been through several different roms for PMTTYD so I'm pretty sure it's a problem with app).
