Correct.

THANK YOU KIND SIR. (caps necessary)

By the way I put the IR up to 4x and it gets REALLY slow. Annoyingly slow. I can't go past 3x with all settings maxed (AA and the other stuff). Guess even a GTX680 4GB isn't enough...

Direct3D9 - SSAA is very demanding . You should not enable it while using 4xIR
Direct3D11 / OpenGL - MSAA is less demanding than SSAA . But even so , do not max out AA while using 4x IR . Not even the fastest GPU could do that atm
As i said earlier , you should only use 2x MSAA (lowest level) or disable AA completely if you play GPU intensive games (such as Mario Galaxy , The Last Story , XenoBlade ...) and 4x MSAA(lowest level ) if you play lightweight games

Got it. Still learning all this stuff! I've actually made a note next to each game I have with all the bug fixes etc so I can do everything to it before boot up for each individual game. It's crazy to me that I can run Far Cry 3 at max settings no problem but if I have 4x IR in Twilight Princess it stutters! Go figure!

Yeah because you're not running FC3 at 5120 x 4224 resolution, which is what you're currently running dolphin at. That's over 20 megapixels per frame whereas 1080p is about 2 megapixels.

And that puts everything into perspective!

Is it ok to post here? I thought I shouldn't make another thread when there is one already not so old.

I want to expand question on differences between NTSC and PAL games, for GameCube precisely. NTSC games are known to output 480p, aside 480i, while PAL allows only for interlaced PAL (576i) or PAL60 (480i). How does Dolphin deals with interlaced content, does it affect at all?

As far as I can tell, Dolphin displays "interlaced" stuff as progressive anyways.
