I understand that, but from what I gather the main thing that is stopping it from working is the use of LIAC Discovery mode, so if someone else has successfully connected a LIAC only Wii remote to Windows 7 (or even Vista) or above with a Dolphin Bar, then there is a good chance that mine will work also, and a risk I am willing to take.
