Quote:I have tried Bluesoliel and Toshiba stacks, and neither of them (or the windows stack) will recognise the PowerA Wiimote in pairing mode, where the original Wiimote works just fine. You need to do a LIAC query to see most third-party Wiimotes. Official remotes are visible without this, but on a real Wii, the Bluetooth stack uses LIAC for discovery. See PR 3865 for how it's done in Dolphin's Linux Bluetooth code. No idea if this is possible to do on Windows; it's probably not.
AFAIK, Android broke something with Wii Remotes, even official remotes, so you won't be able to get it working there.
Quote:I was wondering if the Dolphin Bar would work for connecting these Wii RemotesProbably. Keep in mind that the DolphinBar will only expose the HID packets.
Quote:making use of the sensor bar without using dolphinThe sensor bar has nothing to do with Dolphin. In fact, it has nothing to do with the Wii Remote or Bluetooth either. It simply emits IR light.
