Pad plugins not working.

Hello, I have recently downloaded Dolphin to play some of my Gamecube on my computer, currently just Super Smash Bros Melee.
My only problem is that I am unable to load the game. Previously, when I tried, it kept telling me that there was an error loading the padsimple plugin, but now, after I changed some settings, it doesn't even do that. It just does nothing.
If I click the Pad button up top, Dolphin freezes and then crashes. If I go to Config > Plugins, both the Pad and the Wiimote have nothing selected and when clicking the dropdown box, there is nothing to select.
I looked in the plugins folder and I have both the padsimple plugin as well as the nJoy plugin, but Dolphin doesn't appear to be recognizing them.

Anyone know what the problem is.

I just checked the DirectX Diagnostic tool and I'm running DirectX 11 so I doubt that's it.

I have the same problem but uploading DX and C++ doesn't work for me =(. I have Windows 7 64bit .When I try to run a x64 version of Dolphin,I have message errors of pad and wiimote plugins(non detected);the x86 versions doesn't have this problem,I can run it but very slow(10-15 fps in RE:Umbrella Chronicles). My laptop is a dual core 2.1 ghz with an ATI hd4570(512mb).
Any suggestions?I really want to play Umbrella chronicles >.<
