Pad and Wiimote plugins aren't working

I think I've downloaded about every version of Dolphin there is on the web, and there is always the same problem- when I try to open the game (FE: Path of Radiance) or configure the Pad or Wiimote, it says either "Can't find plugin Plugins/PadSimple.dll" or "Can't init plugin Plugins/PadSimple.dll: can't read info". My cousin has one of the versions I tried... what the heck is going on? Is there anything I could do... maybe get the file of my cuz's computer or something? Or is there something i could fix to make it work on mine?

oh yeah, and when I go to "Configure", it shows the DSP and Graphics plugins, but doesn't have any options for the Pad and Wiimote ones.

update your directx and look again.

thanks it worked! but now whenever i open the game the emulator crashes... what should i do?

does an error come up before it crashes?

No Dolphin error, but Windows says "A problem has caused the program to stop working."

eh, never mind... i just found my PoR game disc that has been missing for MONTHS... in my bro's room, lol
