I like being able to click on quick play, pick whichever hero it randomly decides to display a preview of first (or someone else if there's a major hole in the team), and then shoot some stuff (and then if we're losing, maybe switch to D.Va because for some reason I'm a lot better with her than most other heroes, even though I aim to not specialise). I've never had any particular issue with this. Ideally, when I do this, I want the game to automatically put me with vaguely similarly skilled players so I can play in my usual way without any steamrolling in either direction. If I press Quick Play, I want to be able to just play the game and enjoy it without having to fuss. I don't want to be matched with a bunch of people with genuinely no idea how to play their current hero or people who don't care at all about how well they do, but I also don't want to be expected to be at the top of my game all the time. If an 'extra casual' mode is added, I would prefer it not to be under the quick play button. I like the idea of quick play being the default way most people want to play, and having caring a lot or not caring much being separate opt-in modes.
Also, not entirely related, but I'm not the biggest fan of voice chat with strangers, but I'll do voice chat when playing with friends. This seems to be something I'm expected to do in comp.
