I don't know where to post this, but I want to give an overview of the issues I have been having. If I need to post somewhere else or add additional info, let me know.
I have a gaming laptop I got in 2014. It is an MSI GT70. the specs are: 24 GB ram 1600mhz, Intel Core i7 4810MQ 2.8 Ghz, Nvidia Geforce GTX 870 M (6 GB dedicated video ram) 1TB HDD, 256 SDD.
Instead of buying a whole new laptop/PC handheld, I have been wanting to get my laptop to run Gamecube games properly.
Generally games will run fine for a minute and than randomly drop frames and slow down for a few seconds. I will post screenshots of my settings. I am confused what the EFB settings should be at or if MMU should be turned on or not.
Tony Hawks American Wasteland has recently been giving me an "unable to resolve read address".
The Sims Bustin out will start lagging especially when moving the camera or trying to fast forward.
Tony Hawks Underground 1 typically slows down when changing levels or whenever you move quickly.
I am trying to figure out why I am having problems, because I believe my PC should be capable of running any game.
