So I have a second system with a Pentium E5300 in it. At stock speeds (2.6ghz), it works fine, but when I overclock it, the gameplay in dolphin speeds up and everything looks weird, anyway to circumvent this?

When you say overclock, do you mean the Dolphin CPU Override function, or actually overclocking the Pentium E5300

I meant overclocking the Pentium E5300 itself (with setfsb), not the dolphin internal cpu.

Yes it is. When overclocked to 3+ ghz the 90% setting actually feels more like regular speed.

Make sure that "CPU clock override" is disabled in the configs.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

Tried it, but it didn't seem to help. overclocking still causes game to speed up.

This issue happens only on Dolphin? Overclocking the CPU shouldn't cause something like this.
PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / GTX 660 2GB / 16GB DDR4 3600MHz / Windows 10 Pro

Phones: Poco F3 8/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)
