I really feel that this deserves it's own thread.

With the improvments made to dolphin we can now play some games close to fullspeed(shield tablet & Nexus 9) Thank you for the instructions Kwee!!

These videos compares the speed with "Overclock" enabled:

[Paper Mario] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4RbjJNyt08
[Metroid Prime] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JEzPpEZx8c
[Baten Kaitos Origins] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvnLq89dezw
[Fire Emblem PoR] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxxFO-MGm3g
[Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4szuV-u85Gs

Here is a step by step guide on how to enable "Overclock": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqOLfShdS1c

[color=#ff3333]Important!!! [/color][color=#333333]Not all devices and games uses the same "Overclock" to get better performance. With Nexus 9, Paper Mario works best on 0.25 while Metroid Prime works best on 0.5. This may be different with other android devices. Mostly games will run better with 0.25, 0.5 or 2.0. It may also get worse by "Overclocking", so make sure to test the game with 1.0 before changing the numbers.[/color]

Working:

Time Splitters 2
Resident Evil 4
Paper Mario
Fire Emblem Path of Radiance
Baten Kaitos Origins
Super Smash Bros Melee
Sonic Riders
Metroid Prime
Starfox Assault
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4
Kirby Air Ride
Burnout 2
Crash Bandicoot TWoC
[Wii] Xenoblade

Not Working/Intro only working:

Mario Golf Toadstool Tour
Viewtiful Joe
Gundam vs Z Gundam
Rayman 3
Mario Party 4
Mario Party 7
Final Fantasy CC
StarFox Adventures
Mario Kart Double Dash
Animal Crossing
Luigis Mansion
Tales of Symphonia
Zelda WW
Zelda TP
Zelda FS
Super Mario Sunshine
[Wii] Arc Rise Fantasia

Seems almost like black Magic with the speed up shown. How stable is this change, considering stability on ARM is already a concern?

It's not a real overclocking. It's more like IPC (Instructions Per Second) modifier. That's can free the cpu for better performance. No stability issue(no crash). Can cause tiny glitchs if it's too low.

Wouldn't that impact games with frame timing?

By the way, where's the source code of this modification? As far as I remember, you can't distribute only binaries of GPL applications, source must be provided too...

this seems more like frame skipping to me. ssbm when overclock is set to 0.10000 it gives a full speed but seems like its skipping frames. fps saids between 5-7 and it plays like its about fullspeed.

edit:
2.0000 gives a more perfect result and it can dip to 27fps and still seem fullspeed. i can see this as more like a form of frame skipping than overclocking.
