I want to play Melee and Project M with my friends through the Netplay build of Dolphin with a GameCube controller, but it's not possible for me to do so. Lots of people refer me to use ElMassivo's Wii U GCN USB Driver but that is nnot compatible with my non offical, TTX Tech adapter. The adapter is great and Dolphin does support just not in their netplay build. I would like to know though why people don't use netplay through the normal build and why the netplay version hasn't been updated for a year. Thank you.

Native input has only been working over netplay for a few days. There are still other issues with netplay functionality that haven't been fully worked out either. That being said, a number of people have started using build 5743 for Melee netplay but 652 is still the one to fall back on by default.
