OSX Balance Board Problems

I'm having trouble with the Wii Fit Balance Board on OSX and there seems to be others with this problem. I've explained the basic problem that happens in the Wii Fit thread, but after some more testing (explained below) I think it's a problem with the Balance Board and the OSX version of Dolphin. So I decided to move the thread here.

As I explained initially on the Wii Fit thread:
Quote: I'm having trouble getting to the initial body test on the OSX version (although I haven't tested it on other OSs). The balance board seems to connect fine to the game. But once the game gets to the point of the first body test, the "Body Test" title comes up, then the screen goes white and nothing happens despite what I try to do. The only way I can get the game to react at all at that point is disconnecting the wiimote or the board. In either case it just gives me the regular warning message. Then once I reconnect them it just resumes the white screen.
However, I remembered that I had a non-OEM wiimote and thought that that might be the problem. It was a long shot, but I decided to pick up an official Nintendo wiimote (with built-in MotionPlus). It didn't help. Since then, I've tried every combination of start-up and syncing orders I could think of to try and get it to work, but without success.

If I had more time, I'd give trying to fix the bug a try, but I likely won't have a chance anytime in the near future. Is there any chance this is a problem that already being looked at? Thanks!
