Hello Dolphiners,

I'm having trouble using the NetPlay feature on Mac OS X. I launch it, select "Host", and select the game.

Then I click "Host", and a new window appears.

I just hit "Start" there.

I think the game tries to launch after that, but all I got is a grey screen. I play fullscreen usually, that's why I think the game is launching and freezing. Then eventually I have to force-quit.

Would you have any insights on how to make that work. I'd love to play Melee online with my friends Smile

Thank you!

How many gamepads have you enabled in the main config?

@Billiard26: I only have the first gamepad set to my keyboard I guess. Have a look at the screenshots.

Not the GCPad config. The main Dolphin config, Gamecube tab.

That's the issue, you have too many pads enabled.
Read the message that is shown when you open Tools->Start Netplay.

Damn. I though I read somewhere that these warning indications were obsolete.

Anyway, I tried setting everything exactly as described in the warning message, but it still does the grey screen :/

Just wondering, has this problem been solved yet?
Because no matter what I do, I keep getting a grey screen when using NetPlay, even with all the settings changed. It works without netplay (still with the netplay settings) fine.
any more help?

Show a screenshot of your NetPlay window before hitting "Start"
and your Dolphin config window, "Gamecube" tab.

I am now on R7162, and the bug still occurs. I can't play my friend on Melee online. I'm so sad Sad
