I dont think Gamecube emulation is as difficult as everyone thinks.
My old core 2 duo 1.2 GHZ with its wildly out of date Geforce card seems to run every game flawlessly at 720p.
If you keep the games at native resolution and enable speed hacks then I really can't see why the more power devices releasing this year won't be able to handle it.
Keep in mind also that the android build is in its infancy and the PC version is quite stable + had many years of fine tuning.
If the devs keep up the pace then I wouldn't be suprised to see select playable games this year.
