Yes ive checked the Wiki page and it doesnt go into to detail on how to get the best performance out of this game.

So ive been playing SS for a few days now and ive managed to keep it at 100% "30fps" pretty much all the time, but as i went into the pirates lair "In the second part lanayru desert" the game wont stay at 100% anymore it sits around 80% and this makes the game unplayable in my opinion.

Any help at all is greatly appreciated Smile

Try enabling efb to texture only. If a game needs that, it enables it automatically via game ini anyways. It's a major performance break, and unless the game actually needs it, it doesn't do you anything good.

Also use HLE audio, if you are not using it already.

Ive tried using HLE in the past but it basically breaks the game and brings it down to 20%, just did a quick test after enabling that efb to texture option and there was a noticeable performance increase, this is awesome thanks very much! Smile

How long ago was in the past?

HLE got a significant rewrite increasing compatibility across the board and making it damn near as good as LLE, unless your game is Rogue Squadron
