OpenGL vs DirectX

My system should be quite good for Dolphin ( i7 920,gtx295,windows 7 x64 ) but I have a lot of problem with the DirectX plug-in ( artefacts, crash ).

DirectX is up to date and also Nvidia drivers . Last version of Dolphin.

With OpenGL graphic is ok .

There is a way to fix DirectX problems ??
will DirectX improve performances ??

You mean a harware problem ?? My card is ok with PC DirectX games.

that doesn't mean jack.

the 295 is poorly supported in recent drivers and has issues with many recent games.

Thanks. I will try some older driver ( let say 190.62 ) to see if it helps.
