When using the opengl plugin I frequently get vertices that are in the wrong place which in turn makes it appear that 1 or 2 triangles are projecting from the mesh. The strange thing is that it usually only seems to affect the "main character" mesh in the scene, example from super mario sunshine in the screenshot. The erroneous vertices are relative to their mesh so for example if mario turned towards the camera those verts would also turn about his axis, they aren't fixed in one spot or something like that. I should also add that it is ALWAYS the same vertices that are misplaced in the same wrong place no matter when/what config I run the games with. It does not happen with DX9 or 11 (really 10 on my system) so it's not corrupted game files.
I'm currently using lectrode built, 64bit revision 5804 with SSE/2/3/3S/4.1 no opencl. I have an ati radeon 4850 512mb gpu, E8300 cpu, 4gb ram. I have the latest or a very very recent DX build and graphics driver. Graphics driver runs cloned screen and audio run through gpu if it matters. It happens when native, non-native, or 2x resolution applied
This stuck me as very odd because no matter what texture/sampler related or postprocessing options are applied, aren't the vertices pretty much absolute numbers which should be reproduced faithfully on any gpu?
This happens in all software configurations I have tried, different builds, and only on the opengl plugin. Is it something to do with my gpu or the plugin or ??
