i tried using the 32 bit version (even though i have a 64 bit computer) and the sound wasn't studiering any more. it was still out of sync with the rest of the game but it was smooth and at a speed that would be playable. also when i changed the graphics plugin to dolphin software renderer, i get no configuration options.

so what should i do? do i need to get a better graphics card? faster computer? change some settings?

try enabling audio throttle.

i feel great. somehow dolphin direct 3d9 showed up and i honestly have no idea how. i'm happy it did because when i switch to it everything works fine and runs great. thanks for all your help.
