OpenCL long black screen before game starts?

Is this normal? With it enabled on recent SVNs, I get a 10-20 second long black screen immediately upon launch. After that period, i start getting the boot screens and everything is normal after that. Anyone else? I'm using the latest svn and the latest nvidia drivers.

Yes, it is normal. OpenCL is compiling the GPU texture decoder code when those black screens are appearing. Later versions of OpenCL might be able to prevent these from appearing. We just have to wait for OpenCL 1.1 maybe.
