Am I missing something? Huh

I don't know, I have latest ATI catalyst drivers (9.11) for my gfx card.
How can I know if it supports opencl

And why the plugins don't even appear in the GUI?

Yes a beta driver is available with open cl 1.0 instructions ^^

EDIT

In fact there is an AMD SDK2.0 Beta for Open CL

Exact name is :ati-stream-sdk-v2.0-beta4-vista-win7-32.exe (30.1MB) for 32 bits
or : ati-stream-sdk-v2.0-beta4-vista-win7-64.exe (59.3MB) for 64 bits

EDIT 2

i WAS SURE I had seen this driver before , there you go , cant find a link (only for devs maybe ) so I give you the name , just google it or do wathever you want ^^

ati-opencl-beta-driver-v2.0-beta4-vista-win7.zip (129MB) ^^contains both 32 and 64 bits drivers

Remember you need to install the SDK 1st to be able to use those drivers !!!

Cheers !
