Earlier versions do seem to work with opencl off. Older version when turning opecl on, no longer work. But they use to on this same machine. In order to say I seem to be the only one, we must ask other ppl that have 700 series geforce cards. There was an issue with direct x on pcsx2 that they made a fix for that nvidia never fixed. It could be a similar issue. But the thing is, everything use to work fine.
What else system wise that could be tied to this that i may have to reinstall or reregister? Also, is there anything in older dolphin versions that shouldn't be in the newer versions (because I overwrite previous versions with the newer versions)? Lastly, is there some graphical setting that I can turn off in the driver that could affect this?
Edit: I unpacked a fresh dolphin from the zip into a fresh area. I then turned on each option that I usually turn on one by one. It seems like unchecking ignore format changes causes this issue. It never use to do that before. But when I go back to the old dolphin location and check it back like it was unmodified, it still crashes. So I guess it's something that was left by a previous dolphin from an overwrite that's messing it up? But still, it never did that before.
Edit2: Got it back to working correctly. Yeah, it was the ignore format changes option. I had to make sure everything was set like default and have external frame buffer disable to unchecked and to have ignore format changes to checked. I also had to delete the shader cache. Everything seems to be working okay again.
But yeah, to get back on track, I prefer the opengl only because dx11 doesn't have shaders yet.
