Open CL????

Hello everybody!

I downloaded the OpenCL plugins by Orelands, but when I put them
in the Plugin Folder (Overwrite the other Plugins) and start Dolphin, so I canÂ´t see them. ThereÂ´s only the Software Renderer.

I got the latest Graphic Plugins (Nvidia).

Whats happening there????

I don't think that its a plugin, its only a feature of the existing plugins from what i understood.

It's a plugin, you need to install drivers that support OpenCL

Edit:

I installed the driver, but there are still just the openGL, direct3D & software renderer plugins

Hi, for windows only v190.89 support OpenCL. Did you install that one?

...OpenCL is not a plugin.

OpenCL is not a plugin, it's an API for which I am unsure of the correct definition. You also must have a Geforce 8xxx series card or better with the beta 190.89 drivers that support OpenCL, I am unsure of what ATI cards and drivers support OpenCL.

Anyways OpenCL is useless right now, it offers no improvements in performance and in some cases the performance is worse with the OpenCL builds. Perhaps that might change in the future, for right now OpenCL is a miss more than a hit as far as performance is concerned.
