Hello, I am using the linux build of Dolphin and as my user I do not have the option to configure a USB controller. That is the emulator does not detect it.

If I run dolphin-emu as root I can see the controller, but I cannot map the buttons A,B,X and Y (It's an xbox360 controller). Currently I am using qjoypad as a workaround, but is there a way to fix this issue? It seems like a permissions issue, but qjoypad has no issue detecting the controller. To add to confusion, if I use the Windows version of Dolphin under wine I can detect and map the controller without issue.

I was having the same issue with Dolphin unable to detect my usb controller. I tried running it as root and that worked but this is not ideal. Other programs are able to detect the controller as a normal user. It is a Logitech F310. Were you able to find a solution?
