You should really read through the thread. We talked about this already.
I read what he said. He did not specify his brand/model of cooler and frankly this is just what it sounds like to me. I understand that he already did an AS-5 swap, but did he clean properly? How long ago was that? This just sounds like a case where the CPU isn't getting enough cooling.

@OP, do the temps drop at all if you switch to OpenGL video backend?

Yes, it is just the stock cooler on the CPU I imagine. I certainly never replaced it. I did the AS-5 swap after this was happening and it didn't change anything. Also, why would the CPU not being cool enough cause the GPU to be hot as well?

The temps are this high idle. Running dolphin doesn't raise them too much.
CPU: Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285

Intel stock cooler is terrible , the quality is bad , really bad (it's easy to be broken) . Not even word can describe how horrible it is
I'm certainly sure that cooler is broken ( the fansink may not be broken yet but 4 legs of the heatsink might....)
Dude , just get an aftermarket cooler such as CM Hyper 212 Evo which is dust cheap . You can push your CPU to 3.6GHz with it and the temps will be ok

My best guess is that your CPU heatsink isn't moving the heat efficiently and so it builds in the case and spills over to your GPU. Either that or you just have a hog GPU. You can also apply premium paste on those to improve cooling somewhat, but I think just replacing the CPU cooler will make a difference overall.
