I'm trying to figure this specifically for Super Mario Galaxy, but is it possible to have certain inputs only work when the emulated Wiimote is set to be upright/sideways?
I know it is possible to set a condition whenever you're holding a button or not, or whenever or not you're in the menu, but I would like to know if such a condition value exists for Wiimote upright/sideways.

What exactly are you trying to do? You can try configuring multiple controller profiles, then set up a hotkey to switch between them.

I have quite a few profiles for several games, so switching between them would get quite annoying quite fast.
What I want is have what I want for Galaxy is to use something like the guide button as a toggle to set the upright state, and then have the Wiimote tilt controls mapped to the left analog stick and only work when the upright Wiimote state is recognized (I currently have it set to toggle upright Wiimote with guide, and set to having to hold the left shoulder button as a condition for the tilt controls), if that makes sense.
