one conf for hori/verticle games?

I'm using a xbox 360 controller and trying to play newer super mario bros and kirby epic yarn but it seems that up and down dont work for epic yarn but they do for mario. So is there a trick to have the navigation controls work the same for these games?

Have you tried setting the wiimote to vertical/horizontal?

yeah I did that and it worked but I was hoping to find 1 controller conf that worked for both without having to switch confs. Whats confusing is both games say they use horizontal controls.

If you don't the game will suppose you're using Wiimote + Nunchuk and not Wiimote only
