So, I had Dolphin installed but wound up deleting it because I wasn't using it much. I recently reinstalled it and much to my dismay it won't start now. I try and run it and gives me the following error.

dolphin-emu: error while loading shared libraries: libportaudio.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

The thing is that I have searched for, and found the libportaudio.so file so I don't really know what to do now. I have tried reinstalling Dolphin multiple times. I am using Fedora 24. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Thanks

Peyton

You need to reinstall the PortAudio shared library. I'm not sure what the package name is with Fedora (according to a quick search, "portaudio"?), but after you install the lib, it should work fine.
