ok guys im confused a bit....

today i tryed some GC Games: SSX On Tour, F-Zero GX, SSX 3

first i played on my Main-PC with i7 980 Default 3,33GH, DX9, Default Settings

The games all running in fullspeed with out any problems.

then i played then on my TV with i5 3570k @ 4,3GH.... now im confused because all games only running with 60- 90% Speed with huge lags.

same Build (145) same settings... can someone explain ? ;-)

--------

SSX On Tour: 90 - 100% but huge lags (OpenGL a bit better then DX9, DX11 but still lags)
F-Zero GX: 50 - 60% speed
SXX 3: 100% speed but some sound issue

----------

all tested with HLE because they will run mutch slower with LLE

also tryed 1xIF 1x AF for testing if my GPU sucks but no changes.

the Cores of the i5 capacity only at 50 - 80%.

I think you have some issue with your setup, I have just tested ssx on tour quickly with 1228 (specs in profile):

- Downclocked cpu to 4.7Ghz
- LLE
- D3D11, 4x IR, 16x AF
- Average 200% Speed

I suggest checking if your cpu is downclocking ingame (speedstep), background processes etc the usual. Also that cpu usage is normal because dolphin is really only a dual core app.

It could be overheating. Have you checking your temperatures?

Temps are max by 61 - 62°C

I have disabled speedsteping in Windows and Bios. The CPU always run at 4,3 GH

Forgot to mention had to turn on "Skip efb access from CPU" to stop the occasional slowdowns in ssx games as detailed in the wiki.
Still, you should be getting far higher fps with that system.

So wait just to confirm here, your 980x at 3.3Ghz was playing SSX3 with EFB access just fine, but now your 4.3Ghz 3570k was having performance problems, with the same settings? I don't believe that. You must have had the game setup properly before and not now.

After reading your post tittle the old and very famous quote came into my mind that "Old is Gold". I think same thing is happens to you in real world therefore you like the old cpu as compare to modern one.
