Hello, I am trying to succesfully use a wiimote for the first time with dolphin. I will give as much info as I can as to what the problem is currently so hopefully I can find some help. I have been trying to fix this for a few weeks now.

I am running windows 10 64 bit, I have used multiple recent versions up to and including the current version 5 for Dolphin.

Dolphin recognizes the wiimote in real wiimote mode, dolphinbar in mode 4, rumble confirmation works when I refresh continuous scan or have it connect.

No inputs will work in any Wii game no matter what tinkering I try to do. Some will just say the controller was interrupted or disconnected. Even though the emulator confirms it is connected.

I tried updating the firmware of dolphinbar with no success, it says its already updated.

The wiimote I am using is a black offical motionplus wiimote I believe. I dont know the exact model because I can not connect it directly to bluetooth to see, I go through the dolphinbar exclusively.

If any of this helps to confirm the model the FCC ID is UMB-WCF7. IC is 6719A-WCF7. It has the red sync button.

The behaviors I have described remain consistent across all versions of dolphin, I have ensured full wipes of any settings files when using new versions, I have tried a bazillion different things to try to get it to work with no luck. I hope someone can help. Thank you very much.

EDIT: I also have a standard Monoprice sensor bar, and a bluetooth adapter which was my first attempt at getting the Wiimote to work with dolphin, but of course windows did not and would not recognize the Wiimote via bluetooth. So that is why I now have the dolphinbar.

EDIT 2: If there is any more information needed to perhaps have this put into a bug report, or anything like that please let me know. I have been looking around and trying to figure out bug reporting but I am confused with the process and could use assistance with that if the bug needs to be reported in some fashion. Thank you.

EDIT 3: The model of the wiimote is RVL-003

EDIT 4: Using dolphin 4.0.2 and dolphinbar, the bar and controller connect normally until i start any game and it goes haywire and quits. here is a log that hopefully shows some of the behavior.

I have the same issue: DolphinBar is installed and recognized, WiiMote is SYNCed, and when I start Dolphin, the WiiMote vibrates... So fas so good, right?

But when I start a game (I have tested Epic Mickey and Skylanders Trap Team, the only two I've ripped on my Wii so far!) they do not register any of the button presses or movements...

Just to complete the above, here's my log-snippet:

PS: I disabled all controllers but one (controller 1 = real WiiMote), to prevent extraneous write errors during the scanning for the other 3 WiiMotes
In other modes than mode 4 (ie 1-3), windows recognized the WiiMote...
