I managed to get Melee netplay working fine on my MacBookPro. I have the latest version of Dolphin, but unfortunately, OS X does not natively support the official Nintendo Gamecube Controller adapter for Wii U. Instead of resorting to purchasing the Mayflash adapter, I did some research and found that it is possible to use the official Gamecube adapter for the OS X via drivers. However, I do not really know what to do after this.

Here is a link to a driver that I found: https://github.com/area/osx-wiiu-gcc-adapter/

There it mentions that if I am "downloading from source" that I will need to use "Xcode to build." I really just want to know how to get this working, or if you think I should just get the Mayflash adapter instead.

Hi,

I'm the author of these drivers. If you just want it to work, download the DMG from https://github.com/area/osx-wiiu-gcc-adapter/releases and run install.sh with superuser permissions, and reboot.

The Mayflash adapter doesn't work natively on OSX either, just so you know (well, one port works, but not the other three).

Oh hello. Well with the Mayflash adapter, my friend just sent me the two port one that they don't want, so I'll have that one too. Are you saying that in order for the Mayflash to work I'll have to do the same thing that I'm doing for the Nintendo adapter?

As for the the official Nintendo adapter, I got it working. I just need to calibrate it correctly now.

The two-port MayFlash adapter works fine. The four-port Mayflash adapter only has one port working in PC mode on OSX, and everything works using this driver on OSX when the Mayflash adapter is put into WiiU mode.

Everything's working fine thank you. The other ports do not seem to work though. Is that the way it is supposed to be? I was going to try playing with someone else but I suppose I'd have to just have them use their own computer and play via netplay.
